GENERAL INFORMATION
The Polish meal program was created for people who can not prepare a meal for themselves because of their health or age.
We offer a warm meal every day:
- soup,
- main course,
- salad,
- dessert.
The dinners are served to the customer’s home by volunteers.
The service is available from Monday to Friday. We also offer frozen meals on Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
Meals are delivered between 10:00 and 14:00.
In case of planned absence (doctor’s visit, departure), please inform the office in advance.
The safety of our clients is the most important for us. If the client has not canceled the meal early enough and is not present when delivering a meal home, we try to determine the whereabouts of our client as soon as possible.
To meet all safety standards, meals are delivered directly to the customer’s hands.
ASSESSMENT – REASSESSMENT
ASSESSMENT OF CUSTOMER NEEDS
We strive to collect the customer data we collect:
- they were accurate and up to date
- they contained only the necessary information necessary to run the website
- were made available only to persons directly involved in the provision of services or otherwise responsible for the program in order to check the client’s situation and to adjust the website to its current situation, we conduct a re-evaluation every year.
MENU
We offer you 4 different menus depending on the season. The menus were prepared on the basis of our customers’ surveys and taking into account the health and seasonality of fruit and vegetables.
All products from which we prepare meals are of high quality.
We strive to meet the expectations of customers, which is why in our menu everyone will find something for themselves.
We offer a large selection of Polish traditional dishes.
We offer substitute desserts for people with diabetes.
PROGRAM OF POLISH MEALS
Volunteers are the heart of the Polish Meals Program. Thanks to them we are able to reach our customers with dinners. Also thanks to their hard work on the kitchen, we cook more and more different dishes.
During the week we spend about 500 hot meals packed in disposable packaging.
Depending on the menu, it is from 3 to 4 containers for each customer, which gives about 2,000 packed hot meals and cold desserts and salads every week. Then the dinners are picked up by the volunteer drivers and brought to the customers. In order to deliver meals to the customer, drivers travel about 2,000 km a week.
HOW TO BECOME A CUSTOMER OF POLISH MEALS?
To become a customer of Polish Meals, you must contact us personally or alternatively through a family member, friend or organization.
After receiving the application, we will arrange to assess your needs, situation and our delivery options.
